G. Jack Muller II, a native of Iowa, has practiced oral and maxillofacial surgery in Rapid City since 1984.

After graduating from Iowa State University, Dr. Muller earned his dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He went on to a general practice residency at Irwin Army Hospital in Ft. Riley, Kansas. Following military service, he completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Iowa. Dr. Muller became certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1986.

Dr. Muller’s leadership and commitment to dentistry is evident in his active involvement as a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the South Dakota Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association and the Black Hills District Dental Society, of which he has held numerous offices. He is on the Board of Directors for the South Dakota Dental Foundation.

Dr. Muller is professionally involved as a staff member at Rapid City Regional Hospital and as a consultant staff member at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Hot Springs. His community involvement includes various committee appointments in his church. Dr. Muller is married and the father of four children.
