Mission Statement

Our mission at Black Hills Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, P.C. is:
to provide comprehensive oral surgery in a safe, professional and timely manner; to act as a source of information and education to the general public; and to promote oral surgery as a specialty to the professional community.

Our Surgical Services

We provide a full range of comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical services. These services are performed in the hospital, as well as in the office setting. These services include: dentoalveolar surgery (i.e. extractions, removal of wisdom teeth); dental implants; orthognathic surgery; oral medicine; oral pathology; treatment for TMJ dysfunction; trauma and facial fractures and reconstructive maxillofacial surgery. Office procedures may be facilitated by appropriate anesthesia (i.e. intravenous anesthesia).

Sterilization Methods

Our practice adheres to the highest standards of infection control in accordance with federal guidelines mandated by the CDC and OSHA. Our treatment rooms are equipped with the most current technology to minimize any risks. Our sterilization equipment is carefully monitored for 100% effectiveness. All equipment is sterilized prior to treating each patient.

Working With Your Dentist

By working closely with your dentist, we can help you to achieve your dental needs. We are in close communicaiton with your dentist throughout your treatment in our office. You should continue to see your general dentist every six months to have routine follow-up care even after completion of your oral surgery.
