Meet Ryan M. George, DMD, FACS

Dr. George joined Black Hills Oral Surgery in 2025. He was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his undergraduate degree (BA) at Brigham Young University and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts on a scholarship from the United States Army. He then completed his specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the San Antonio Military Medical Center where he achieved proficiency in the full scope of oral & maxillofacial surgery procedures.

Following residency, Dr. George and his family continued his Active Duty service and moved to Manhattan, Kansas where he served as Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Irwin Army Community Hospital at Fort Riley, Kansas.

Dr. George and his wife have four children. They enjoy the outdoors, traveling, skiing, and reading. He is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association, and the Black Hills District Dental Society. He also is an active member of the Medical Staff at Monument Health and Same Day Surgery Center.
